I dont even know where to begin in response to this video... My heart breaks for that family, especially his wife. I dont know if I would be able to be as strong as her. I understand why he wanted to die but i dont know if I could watch someone that I love do that to themselves. I cried almost the entire show. One part of the show that broke my heart the most was when he said he wanted to keep living but he couldnt.
Yes! I must agree that was a very powerful video. For me, it reconfirms how I feel about PAS or assisted suicide. I would hope I could be as strong as this wife was to support his decision. These are people I believe we should show compassion and to these types of patience and their families. I loved that they pointed out that there are other countries who do allow this practice to take place. I can only hope this country will find away to make it possible for its people as well. We have a right to die peacefully when we end up in that stage of death. I agree with the man when he says; "It's okay to play God when trying to keep someone alive, but it's not when someone is ready to die." This was a very powerful video and I hope all of you take the time to watch it.
